The shaping the common future of humanity around a vision based on peace and love is a particular concern to Muslims as well. In the historical process, both the internal differences of the Muslim world and the experience of living together with different religions and cultures contain a rich memory for the adaptation of this vision to the present. Taking advantage of this memory, the practice of coexistence in Islamic culture needs to be reconsidered and evaluated in many aspects under current conditions. It is aimed to identify the possibility of using in this day and age and to determine the possible role in future of the practice of coexistence which has an important place in the Anatolian and Azerbaijani wisdom tradition with the international symposium on “The Practice of Coexistence in Islamic Culture II”, which will be held in the context of meeting this need. This project which aims to contribute to scientific, political, social and individual studies in the context of the Practice of Coexistence in Islamic Culture will also develop friendship and brotherhood relations between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
